Why is birthday required?

Recognizing Staff members, friends and other parents birthday’s can makes someone’s day a little brighter! There may also be an age requirement for classes or events. If you are uncomfortable providing this information you can simply select the option to hide it from the directory so only you can see it.

Behavior Contract

At The Learning Nook, we strive to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment. By enrolling in our program, you and your child agree to the following behavior guidelines:

Treat peers, tutors, and staff with kindness and respect.

Follow instructions from tutors and staff promptly.

No disruptive behavior (e.g., yelling, fighting, or refusing to participate).

Phones must remain off or silenced and stored in backpacks during tutoring sessions.

Failure to adhere to this behavior contract may result in dismissal from the program without refund.

The Learning Nook: Terms and Conditions

Program Rules & Policies

Parent is the Teacher: We are a supplemental tutoring program. As the primary educator, parents are responsible for their child’s overall curriculum and progress.

No Refunds: Tuition payments are non-refundable. If a child is absent, make-up sessions are not available.

Phones: Phones are not allowed during tutoring sessions. If a child must carry a phone for emergencies, it should remain in their backpack.

Allergies: If your child has food allergies, please provide a detailed action plan.

Late Fee: Parents must pick up their child between 2:15 and 2:30. A late fee of $1 per minute after 2:40pm will be charged, and repeated late pickups may result in dismissal from the program.

Discontinue Services: To discontinue services at The Learning Nook, parents must provide at least **two weeks' written notice** before their child’s last session. Failure to do so may result in being charged for the following month’s tuition.

Prices: Prices are subject to change each school year.
